Successful completion of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam.

Take² Re-sit Exam Service may be purchased prior to sitting the initial exam. It allows you to re-sit your exam within 6 months of your initial exam date. You will be notified by e-mail that a re-sit exam is available and you will be invited to schedule it and take it exclusively through PeopleCert Online Proctoring from the comfort of your home or office (webcam required).

As of January 2023, PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certificates expire after 3 years and exams must be retaken to keep certificates active. It is also possible to accumulate 20 continuous development points in the AXELOS membership in order to maintain an active PRINCE2 certification status.
