Passing the Government of Canada oral Second Language Evaluation takes practice. In this course, you will learn vocabulary, practice your grammar and apply specific strategies to reach Level C. Reading and listening activities in this course tackle workplace issues to help you expand the scope of your vocabulary. Grammar lessons and exercises will address grammatical errors one should avoid during the oral test. Intense oral practice will focus on themes, questions and strategies specific to the oral test.
There are four levels of proficiency in the French as a Second Language Program, and they have more than one section for additional practice. Each level complements the other and builds upon previously introduced concepts and vocabulary. A placement test determines the level of proficiency where you begin.
Students who can express their ideas and opinions on common everyday topics in the present, past, and future tenses but need to practice justifying their opinions in complex sentences, use the subjunctive, express conditions and formulate hypotheses.
If you are studying for the Federal government’s Level C language exam, or if you need a refresher course to practice for your upcoming language renewal exam, you will benefit from this course.
