We invite you to a special Lunch & Learn event on October 16, 2024, at HUB350 featuring Dr. Jonathan Calof, a distinguished expert in competitive and foresight intelligence. Dr. Calof, the UNESCO co-chair on anticipatory systems for innovation and venture creation, is a professor at the Telfer School of Management and has earned recognition as a leading authority in competitive intelligence. Frequently quoted in the media, Dr. Calof has been referred to as “the éminence grise of Canadian CI theorists,” and is “regarded worldwide as a competitive intelligence guru” by the Report on Business. His contributions have been acknowledged globally, including receiving Frost and Sullivan’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
During this event, Dr. Calof will share insights on leveraging foresight intelligence to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge. Additionally, Dr. Julie Beauchamp, Algonquin College’s new Senior Vice-President Academic, will discuss how the college is evolving its programs to meet industry and labour market demands.
